Albert Krake, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on November 25, 2016, at the age of 91. Albert liked to farm, but he was a gardener at heart. He loved to tend to his flowers, but most of all he cherished his peanuts, the biggest ones he could dig up, and the largest tomatoes he could grow. The Beef-Heart tomatoes and American Beauty tomatoes were amongst his favorite. He is survived by his loving and forgiving wife of 68 years, Nathalie; two daughters, Laura Krake Smith and husband, Michael, and Diane...

He loved to tend to his flowers, but most of all he cherished his peanuts, the biggest ones he could dig up, and the largest tomatoes he could grow. The Beef-Heart tomatoes and American Beauty tomatoes were amongst his favorite. He is survived by his loving and forgiving wife of 68 years, Nathalie; two daughters, Laura Krake Smith and husband, Michael, and Diane Krake Allain and husband, Timothy; sister, Faye Elaine Krake; two brothers, Joe Krake and Charles Krake; four grandchildren, Little Diane, Lee, Heather and Maggie; and one great-grandchild, Gresham. Burial ceremonies are private. Greenoaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
