Obituary


A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she passed away Wednesday March 25, 2015. She was a resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of Ville Platte, LA. Peggy retired as a secretary with the State of Louisiana Archives. Peggy is survived by her daughter Pamela F. Tittsworth, son James W. Fontenot Sr. "Bill" and wife Angelia, four grandsons Richard Benjamin Hull, and wife Michele, James Christian Hull, James William Fontenot Jr. "Jimmy", and Michael Sheldon Fontenot, three great-grandchildren Regan and Riley Hull, and Gia Fontenot, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews that she loved....

Fontenot Sr. "Bill" and wife Angelia, four grandsons Richard Benjamin Hull, and wife Michele, James Christian Hull, James William Fontenot Jr. "Jimmy", and Michael Sheldon Fontenot, three great-grandchildren Regan and Riley Hull, and Gia Fontenot, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews that she loved. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband James "Jimmy" Fontenot, three sisters, and a brother, and son-in-law Roland Tittsworth. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Friday March 27, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm, with a Rosary at 7pm. Visitation continues on Saturday March 28, 2015 at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church from 9am till Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, conducted by Rev. Jack Nutter. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, a volunteer at Capital Nursing Home for 25 years, and was an active in Cursillo.
